Grizzlies Fall to Pelicans 111-109
Ja Morant's 36 Points Not Enough to Overcome New Orleans

In a closely contested matchup, the Memphis Grizzlies fell to the New Orleans Pelicans 111-109 on Monday night. Despite a valiant effort from Ja Morant, who poured in 36 points, the Grizzlies were unable to secure the victory.
CJ McCollum led the way for the Pelicans with 24 points, followed by Zion Williamson's 23 points and seven rebounds. The Pelicans were able to capitalize on Memphis's turnovers, converting them into easy baskets.
The Grizzlies fought hard until the end, but ultimately couldn't overcome the Pelicans' hot shooting. Brandon Ingram added 18 points for New Orleans, while Jaren Jackson Jr. had 19 points for Memphis.
With this loss, the Grizzlies fall to 10-19 on the season, while the Pelicans improve to 17-14.
